I cannot tell you how much fun Sue and Dave were to work with! They came to me from a referral of a past bride (which is always such a huge complement!) and I could not wait for them to sign with us. Their ceremony was at St. Vincent de Paul right here in our neighborhood and reception was at the SF Film Centre in the Presidio. When they told me they wanted to have cornhole and bocce ball on the lawn out front, and the first vendor they had booked after signing the venue was Tainted Love, I knew we were going to be a great fit!
The whole evening was very relaxed, easy and playful. Pinwheels were something that Sue fell in love with and we kept coming back to it through the design. Incorporating them in wheat grass planter boxes for the place cards and in the centerpieces as an added detail with simple tulips (arranged by Spiral Hand Design) kept with the chill backyard feel we were aiming for. With an awesome family style tapas dinner catered by Jersey Tomatoes and the musical entertainment from Tainted Love, we had to tear people away at the end of the night.
